Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) Gateways provides RDP access to University Desktops from outside networks WITHOUT requiring VPN connections. Once connected to your work desktop you will have access to everything your desktop has installed or is permitted to access on the network

In order for this service to work, your local IT group will need to configure your Rutgers desktop to allow Remote Desktop connections and permit the traffic through any local firewalls.
